My name is Sam, currently, a MSc student of Applied Physics at TU-Delft. I did my Bachelor’s End Project (BEP) at “the Gheidari Lab” and stayed on as a research assistant. The research I’m doing focuses on correcting spherical aberration in SEM through MEMS Cs-Corrector. That includes experimenting / tuning the SEM, extracting data from it, some image processing, some simulations and a bunch of troubleshooting.
When I’m not at the SEM, I’m probably enjoying time with friends, or on my bike!
I like the tough and abstract problems we tackle, and there’s always someone around to discuss the challenges with, plus a good laugh with Ali.
